Turns out the moon is not the Earth’s only traveling companion. Space scientists have discovered an asteroid that’s been following our fair planet for thousands of years, at least — and there may be many more where it came from, according to a recent study.
This makes the possibility of mining asteroids far, far, far, far, far more likely to be economically feasible and practically doable. If they find asteroids of decent size and of proper composition, this could be a huge, huge, huge, huge, huge development for the human race.
Not to put too much hyperbole on it.
But seriously. This could be incredibly big.
