Libya could go a couple of ways.

If it goes “democratic” then Obama can spin it his way regardless of whether he wishes this to be the outcome. And and “democratic” form of government over there will not resemble, in any fashion, anything “democratic” as understood over here – and, more importantly, will “democratically” be anti-West. Results in either no loss or net gain for Obama.

If it stays with the current regime, then there is no change in the status quo, no change in the stance of Libya vis a vis the U.S. Results in no change for Obama.

If it goes Islamic, then it will be anti-U.S. and anti-West.

So, if you believe, as I do, that Obama IS anti-U.S. and anti-West, then the last possible result is one which he would WISH, then doing nothing is the best course for Obama to follow.

So much of what he does and doesn’t do which seems incomprehensible becomes comprehensible if one believes that Obama is actually anti-U.S.

It ain’t incompetence. It’s purposeful.
