Floyd Landis tests positive for possible drug use in Tour de France.
Not rushing to conclusions here, there is a backup sample to test too, but this is disappointing news.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackThe Euros have been trying to get Lance Armstrong on drug charges for years. They’ve tested him relentlessly (and started nasty rumors continuously) for blood doping, after every single tour.
So if Floyd Landis did take anything, he would have to be amazingly stupid. Anyone else I know would have said “Hmm, they relentlessly test American athletes hoping to catch them cheating . . . they might test me too.”
Of course, I don’t trust that this isn’t going to be a witchhunt with trumped up evidence either.
