So I worked my butt off last week on this presentation I have to do for our senior leadership today. I was up ’til well after midnight twice, and had to defer a scheduled personal day off to get it done.
It’s only four slides and I’ve only got ten minutes to do it.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackAll done. It took almost 15 minutes, but that was because of five minutes of questions and discussion after the presentation was done. It seemed to go well, if people asking for more of the same sort of analysis is any guide.
Amazing how much effort went into 15 minutes of a bunch of SVP’s time…
Heh…been there a few times myself.
In the end, all I got out of it was more work.
But getting more work is a good thing these days, getting visibility with this group as someone providing a valuable service is really the best result possible, at least from a continued employment perspective.
Good luck, Cosmic! I bet you’ll do just fine, and they’ll probably ask a lot of questions. And, it will get you more visibility with the senior leadership, which shall certainly be good from a continued employment perspective.
