If any of you have read the “Lord of the Rings” you might remember how Gandalf, Strider, Frodo and Glorfindel fought the nine Ringwraiths at the Ford of Bruinen where the Ringwraiths are overwhelmed by the angry river and their horses are killed and their cloaks washed away. Tolkien describes how the Ringwraiths are not killed, just diminished, and must skulk and squirm their way back to Mordor where new mounts and cloaks can be provided by Sauron to return them to their power.
That’s pretty much where Acorn is today. They will reform under a new name far away from any media scrutiny and then ride forth to do their master’s bidding again.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI didn’t even have to read the news of ACORN folding. I can always tell when something is going on with them by my Sitemeter stats, as tons of visitors pour in looking for images of Hannah Giles. (that must have been a heckuva picture I posted of her)
They’re already re-forming. You know, when you own a bad brand, just change the name on the building…hire a new manager…but keep the assembly line, equipment…and manufacturing specs.
from what I have been hearing , they(ACORN) are just renaming themselves.
