This is fractalesque. You can see the pattern of craters overlaid with smaller craters repeated for as much detail as the eye can see, and no doubt continued on into the microscopic realm.

The surface of Rhea is thought to be mostly water ice. Actually MOST of Rhea is thought to be water ice.

When you think about it, with all the comets and icy moons in the solar system, water is quite common. Unfortunately it’s usually in the form of ice, but still, there’s a freakin’ lot of water around our sun. If that is fairly typical of stars formed from the same gas cloud that formed the sun, the chance of liquid water on some nearby planet start looking pretty good.
