I love political debate. It’s so much like kindergarten recess.

For years now I have heard liberals repeatedly say “If Bush would only admit he made a mistake, we’d stop beating him up! His problem is that he’s too arrogant to admit a mistake.”

Of course I have always replied: “Right… as soon as he says “oops” you will be all over him like white on rice talking about how this shows how stupid he has been.”

So, sure enough, Bush apologizes for the “Dead or Alive” comment and some of his less sophisticated rhetoric, and the response from the left? I’ve not seen one “Oh, finally we see Bush is human. At least he’s admitted it. Let’s move on.” Nope, what I hear is “SEE!!! WE TOLD YOU!!! STUPID NEOCONS!!!! HAHAHAHAHAA!!!”

Just as I predicted. sigh.
