So, I followed a link from Instapundit to Pajama’s Media “Hair of the Dog” and followed that to “Hawtness – The Women of WTF” where I stumbled across this photo…

How does someone even imagine that this would be a cool photo? How does it end up BEING a cool photo?

It probably won’t come as a surprise to you, but I think it is a cool photo not only because of the physical challenge involved, but because she does, as Drax points out, hit what she aims for…
Cosmic, it actually hurts to look at that. (Not the girl of course…what she’s doing) It reminds me of those 3 sisters that sang and danced back in the 40’s…what??? Ross Sisters?
Hang on…Yeah, that’s it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHEtXkReIbE
I guess there really are people who can bend over and kiss their … butts goodbye.
What makes it a cool photo is that she’s posed in the opposite direction of the background building.
Yes there’s a building in the background. Look hard.
INSTALANCHE!
Andy,
Congrats-Your comment got Instalanched as well.
I bet the Canadians still won’t allow it in the Olympics…
Why is it not a cool photo? ?????
Damn you websense! I can’t see it!
Geez, I post for years on everything from political philosophy to futurism and I get an Instalanche for a photo of a chick on a balance beam shooting a bow with her toes…. What a world…
Ingrate.
LOL… Actually I’m sorta embarrassed, the recent posts have been lame and I just posted perhaps the most egregious example of pure gratuitous eye-candy in the history of the blog, and that’s when I get an Instapundit link…. Oh well. I’m appreciative, just the timing isn’t all that great.
OMG, the “Geez, I post for years…” and “Ingrate” comments made me actually LOL. Thanks for that guys!
As to the photo, I grant the woman’s amazing flexibility and balance, but can’t give that she drew the bow as posed. That would just be weird.
Actually I think I saw her or someone like her on either “America’s Got Talent” or “Britain’s Got Talent” and the woman I saw (1) actually drawing the bow in that position and (2) was hitting what she aimed at…
