I think I predicted we would soon see Michelle back in the limelight trying to “make a difference.” My initial reaction is “yeah, this is what we need, a woman wearing a $2,000 dress who goes to an organic food market in a limosine phalanx telling America how tough health care is ‘for women’ ” because, after all, just singling out the poor isn’t enough of a victim class to get us cruel middle class rubes upset enough to cripple our economy.

Oh, and what is so crushing for women? Well apparently Michelle feels that women are treated as chattel by husbands and children who actually expect them to maintain appointment calendars, take them to the doctor’s office and pick up prescription drugs…
I guess next we’ll hear how women are nothing better than slaves because men won’t keep track of birthdays and anniversaries….

Michelle wasn’t clear on how the government option was going to free women up from this onerous duty. I suspect it involves some website and a fleet of Priuses which will keep track of all appointments in the country and provide green travel options so Mom can finish watching Oprah in case she decides to endorse another Messiah.
whatever it involves you can bet she’ll never be a subject to it.
