So, I’m wondering what your average Muslim-in-the-street thinks is more blasphemous, cartoons of Mohammed, or the bombing of a historic Mosque.
Logic, reason and pure common sense tell me that bombing a historic Mosque has to be more blasphemous, but somehow I don’t think the reaction of the Muslim community will be massive demonstrations, riots and Al-Qada flag burnings.
Why not?
If you figure that out, please contact the State Department and tell them, because I am sure someone in Washington D.C. could use that information.
As for me, I am simply perplexed, it makes no rational sense. But there it is.
GRAMMAR UPDATE: Yes, I know “historic” is supposed to be “an historic” but I have always found that reads awkardly, and this is not a thesis, it’s a blog.
