Yesterday we had a lot of “United States of America” and “Marine Corps” helicopters flying by our building where I work. There is a hotel nearby and the rumor was that Dick Cheney was staying there (flying down from Cheyenne, Wyoming). It was pretty exciting watching the helicopters landing on the golf course and kicking up huge clouds of snow.

Today the same thing is happening, but now it’s supposed to be the Prez hisself. Pretty cool.

UPDATE: Oops, I said “yesterday” when I should have said “Saturday”. Been so busy at work lately I thought I was there Sunday when I actually worked from home all day.

UPDATE2: Looks like the Prez is gone. Luckily we got in early enough to miss the traffic jam he caused. With all the helicopters, police, secret service and stuff, it is interestng to speculate how much it costs for him to move from place to place. It is pretty impressive!
