One presumes he could not make such a statement without being aware of the irony of how critical of a role “childish things” played in his ascendency to his current position. In fact the childishness of the Left in their unrelenting hatred of all things conservative and all things associated with George W. Bush was instrumental to his victory.

And speaking of childish things, here is the aftermath of his speech, a disgusting sea of refuse and detritus left behind by those very same people who have lectured America for years on how they should live their own lives. I guess when Obama supporters lecture us on how to treat the environment, they don’t include the actual land they are physically standing or sitting on at the time.

“… put away childish things…” indeed. It looks like Obama has his hands full in that regard, starting with his own hypocritical, whining, petulant supporters.
