Yes, it was that chilly. I didn’t want to fire up the heater again, so I just used up some of the last of my firewood that was still in the firewood stack and started a fire to warm things up…. It’s not June yet.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackCC: I think I told you before that Mrs. Andy lost her garden on the 4th of July when we lived in CO. We were living at 6,500 ft. We got a 26 degree morning on Independence Day 1995 that killed all of her hard work. She was ticked off big-time (even though I remember her exact words I won’t pass them along…suffice it to say that she was not a happy gal).
But that was 13 years ago. With all this global warming that we are having I am sure that this will be your last blast.
Buy a snow-blower pal! June is yet to come.
I understand the difference between anecdote and data, but I still have to say that the fact that the last two years have been the two coldest years since I moved up here have not done much to convince me that the ice is all melting all over the world.
CC: Yep! My anecdotal experience is just a tiny blip in the eons-long history of CO weather. But Mrs. Andy really was xxxx-ed off.
