OK, today marks my seventh day as Mr. Mom with the Cosmic Wife in Kentucky helping take care of her father, who fell and injured his hip. I apologize for the light posting, but it’s been a fairly hectic seven days. She returns on Friday night, so I still have three days to go.
Posting should return to what passes for “normal” when she gets back.

Oh yea…our best to you, too. I know it’s a real challenge when half of the team is half a continent away.
Mr. Mom or WoWhead?
A little of both put together, the Cosmic Daughter has gotten her own account on WoW and we have been roaming around the virtual universe together. Which is fun, actually.
I don’t know how much my WoW playing has been interfering with my blogging, but it certainly has taken up a chunk of my time lately. But so has housework, grocery shopping, cooking dinner, washing, folding and putting away clothes, cleaning the garage, cleaning the house, etc.
Last night I didn’t do much on WoW but help the CD out when she got stuck in a quest.
I have been in the 2-3 hour per night range for the past week, and yes I could have spent that time blogging on CC, but that’s really time that I normally spend on other blogs and message boards, which is really where I’ve seen my participation cut back. But as I said, I’m not sure that’s a bad thing, I tend to get into flame wars with people on political subjects and I had gotten pretty tired of arguing “Bush is Evil” or “Global Warming will kill us all” or “Obama is the savior” with a dozen people at once. I’m more than a little tired of the arguments, frankly.
