Yet another Hollywood Iraq War movie that presents America as the enemy, soldiers as ignorant morons, and the Bush administration as evil warmongers.

ho. hum.

More Hollywood liberal thought-control efforts gone down the financial drain. But the principals in this movie will not suffer for it, they will be called “heroes” in Hollywood for “speaking truth to power” instead of “pandering to the ignorant masses” and making an Iraq War movie that would MAKE money.

You know, a movie that showed Americans as the good guys, jihadis as the bad guys and the soldiers as professional, capable intelligent people.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for THAT movie from Hollywood. Because even if it made a billion dollars, it would be a death-knell for the producer, director or principal actor’s careers. Because it doesn’t fit the ideological narrative of Hollywood.

Some things ARE more important than money. Even in Hollywood.

Nikki Finke’s Deadline Hollywood Daily » ‘21′ Holds Winning Hand At Box Office; ‘Superhero’ Is Superflop; ‘Stop-Loss’ DOA I’m told #7 Stop-Loss opened to only $1.6 million Friday from just 1,291 plays and should eke out $4 M. Although the drama from MTV Films was the best-reviewed movie opening this weekend, Paramount wasn’t expecting much because no Iraq war-themed movie has yet to perform at the box office.
