I subscribe to an origami mailing list and today it had a link to this Snopes.com article on a guy named Willard Wigan who sculpts figures smaller than the eye of a needle. Here’s a photo:
Yes, that’s the Statue of Liberty inside the eye of a needle. A real needle. Not even a big one. He has similar sculptures that sit on an eyelash without bending it. Pretty amazing stuff.
