Here is the “official” report on snowfall in Bailey:
“Mount Bailey (above the town of Bailey) — 55 inches”
I can’t say we have that much in our yard, but I can’t argue with the weather service.
That’s a record for us since we moved here. Usually I over-estimate snowfall, but this is pretty amazing. 55 inches!

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackDidn’t you net more of the white stuff during the storm of ’03 ? We were somewhere around 3.5 feet for this storm, and a little over 6 feet for that one. I seem to recall a couple of good dumpings back in 2000 or 2001 which might have rivaled this, but certainly it ranks in the ‘top 5′ for the 8 or so years that we’ve lived here.
No, actually we were on the western edge of that first storm, so only got bout four feet. It was a bit less than this time.
