There can be no doubt. One song is so superior to all others that it is almost laughable to even have a contest to determine favorite Christmas song. So I will put that particular song in the comment section and use this to make a list of songs that could be considered second best Christmas song:
“Santa Claus is Coming to Town” – Bruce Springsteen
“Auld Lang Syne” – Dan Fogelberg
“The Great White North 12 days of Christmas” – Bob and Doug McKenzie
Not enough time to list more, I’ll try to get to that tonight.

I love the Carol of the Bells.
Carol who?
Does your wife know?
I’m a “Silent Night” fan.
Of the “traditional” Christmas songs that I enjoy listening to, these are probably at the top of my list:
– The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) – Nat King Cole
– White Christmas – Bing Crosby
– Holly Jolly Christmas – Burl Ives
– Blue Christmas – Elvis Presley
– It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas – Perry Como
– Sleigh Ride – Various artists
– The Most Wonderful Time of the Year – Andy Williams
– Feliz Navidad – Jose Feliciano
– Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree – Brenda Lee
– War is Over (So This is Christmas) – John Lennon
““O Holy Night†– as sung by Luciano Pavarotti ” Seconded.
Jingle Bell Rock, by Bobby Helms is probably my favorite.
For me I’ll take “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by U2
