Tomorrow at about noon local time, I’ll be writhing and sweating in pain as an oral surgeon rips my gums and a portion of my jaw apart in an attempt to fix a growing gap between my molars…
And you know the best part?
I am paying him for it.

Been there, done that, more than a few times. It HURTS.
Did your dentist tell you about LANAP? My dentist has used that procedure on me twice as an alternative, with good results.
I’ve heard about LANAP, but I honestly don’t know if my periodontist used it or not. He had some device with a cord that he put in my mouth that wasn’t a drill. Maybe it was a laser… I shoulda asked.
Anyway, now I have a huge crater in my jaw. I’m not sure how this is an improvemnt. The periodontist told me I need to see my dentist about possibly redoing the crown to fill in the gap.
Maybe it was a laser…
Sounds like it to me! I hope you got some good drugs out of the experience, which was the ONLY saving grace I found to be had. Other than improved dental health, of course.
