Here is the offical tracking of the unemployment data for the past four years. The graph shows the original predicted jobless rate by the Obama “experts”, the proposed “fixed” jobless rate that would be the result of the trillion dollar boondoggle “stimulus”, and then the dots are the actual jobless numbers.
Keep in mind that the reported jobless numbers only show people actively seeking work. This graph does not show the impact of people who have given up. Most estimates put the actual unemployment number as five to ten points higher than the “official” number because of the millions of people who have left the work force. I don’t recall the exact numbers, but the work force (meaning actual employed people and people actively looking for work) is SMALLER today than it was in 2000, even though the population has grown by nearly 30 million people. That should give you an idea of what the real impact of the Obama administration has been. Anyway, here’s the graph that Romney/Ryan should be hammering day after day after day.
