I actually wanted to have a picture of Anthony Hopkins as Odin with the caption giving Professor X the credit for the “quotation”, but I couldn’t find a suitable Odin photo and this Prof X photo was just about perfect.
How many diverse mythologies have I conflated here?

What, is this some kind of test? LOL…
I see at least 5: The Matrix, Star Wars (Yoda-ese), Harry Potter, X-Men, and, of course, Norse mythology. Am I missing something?
Think less in terms of classical mythology and more in terms of major motion pictures… This is a play on the constant manufacturing of “internet memes” that get posted online but inadvertently conflate, say, Harry Potter with Lord of the Rings.
So, yes, all of the ones you mentioned are in there, but “Norse Mythology” is intended more to be the Marvel “Avengers” and “Thor” movies. I’m glad you picked up on the “Yoda” bit.
The one you missed is, perhaps, the most subtle. Think not only of how the “quotation” is worded, but of what it is saying…
It’s not a test, but I was having fun with it. I wanted to see how many separate movie memes I could cram into one short quotation and photo.
I need to somehow get “Lion, Witch & Wardrobe” in here too. Maybe if Professor X is talking to Aslan?

Well, as I think about this I’d have to include Lord of the Rings. Boromir describes the evil of Mordor, including the Ringwraiths I think, as evil that ‘does not sleep’. Yep, I’ll go with that…
If I were a photoshop expert (or even HAD photoshop) I might try some stuff… As it is I think conflating six movies in two sentences and one photo isn’t half bad.

The quote I butchered is something like:
“One does not simply walk into Mordor! There is evil there that does not sleep!”
Yoda-ized would be something like: “Into Mordor simply one does not walk! Evil there is, sleep it does not!”
I predict this work will be the creation that finally brings this blog to a wide audience!
You should figure out a way to add ‘Hunger Games’ to the mix. Maybe add at the end: “In your favor, the odds are not!”
Or photoshop in a mockingjay pin or something

Not half bad.
I suppose more memes would overdo it, anyway.
In this case, more is more.
