Multiple news stories have erupted in the past 24 hours saying that Condaleeza Rice is now the frontrunner for the VP slot on the Romney ticket.

I’m fine with that. I don’t think she’s the best pick from a pure political calculation perspective (I think a Republican governor of a battleground state is the best for that), but she would be a classy, intelligent and formidable VP. I especially like her experience with Russia as that nation again asserts its imperial ambitions.
