That’s gotta be some sort of record for shamelessness… I’ve always found Keith Olbermann to be absolutely intolerable. Even as a sports commentator he was an 11 on the 1-10 scale of ignorant obnoxiousness. When he became a political commentator that’s about [...]

In the past few days I’ve had a number of conversations about the books, plus I’ve read a bunch of reviews. [...]

Like fools we went to the IMax viewing, figuring that the movie would be real crowded but the IMax early afternoon viewing would be the least crowded. [...]

Just wrapped up this book on my break. Yeah, I took it to work to read on my breaks. That’s actually a first for a work of fiction. I mean I’ve brought lots of technical books, and even “Why We Get Fat” to work, but not to read, just to have handy if I had [...]

Haven’t done a movie review in a while. Haven’t really been watching many movies lately, it’s gotten too expensive even for my profligate spending habits. But, we had been planning to see JC of Mars when the first previews came out so we finally managed to see it (two weeks after it premiered, I think). [...]
