I’ll probably be watching it waiting for my surgery incisions to heal up a bit more… We may get some snow during the game.
Should be fun to watch on the new 47″ TV though.
I would not be surprised if the Giants turn out to play a great game. I’m rooting for the Patriots, but I’m [...]

The supposed link between autism and vaccine preservatives has been debated for at least a decade. The preservatives that supposedly led to autism have not been used in years, and autism rates show no signs of a decline. And yet these sorts of stories still get on TV where they inflame the guilt and remorse [...]

Remember this golden oldie from Cosmic Conservative? At the time I predicted that Hillary’s lack of concern over Wal-Mart activities, from their anti-union stance to their role in putting “mom and pop” businesses out of work, would not get covered because the press simply didn’t care to look into it.
However, in the last debate Barack [...]

So, now that I’ve had a few days to contemplate my recent excursion into modern surgery, I have a few thoughts…
I have to admit that I am quite surprised by how little discomfort I had from the surgery. I literally had more pain and inconvenience from the breathing tube they put down my throat than [...]

It appears that the end result of the latest rounds of primaries has clarified both the Democratic and Republican side of the Presidential race.
Guliani and Edwards are both dropping out. Thompson has dropped out. Huckabee has lost most of his luster and is probably going to be dropping out soon.
So we are basically left with [...]

Well, I’m back in the office now, ready for a full day of work. My incisions are mostly an irritant, but I definitely feel them.
I put some bandages on them myself this morning, the hospital had not put any bandages at all on them.

This may not be a death-knell for Romney, but it’s close.

Which,of course now, is none.
So I’m back from gall bladder surgery. It was not completely without a hitch. The surgery portion seemed to go fine, but I had two problems with the anesthesia. First, they could not put the breathing tube down my throat, and ended up causing some significant injury to my throat in [...]

Which political sterotype are you?

So, tomorrow I go under the knife. Youch!
We have not had a big snow in a few weeks, so we are due for one. But I won’t be able to shovel when the next one happens. Since I usually do the shoveling before anyone else gets up, that means the rest of the family is [...]

Man what a bad movie. I watched a decent portion of this movie today, mostly because the only other thing on at the time was the Buick golf tournament, and I can keep up with a golf tournament by watching roughly 10% of the action. So I flipped back and forth between that, “Fletch Lives” [...]

I think I’ve probably posted on this subject before. I find myself thinking about comedy on occasion, particularly after I’ve watched comics perform. For the past few days I have found it difficult to do things that take much concentration, and one thing that takes very little concentration is sitting in front of the boob [...]

Kirsten Haglund of Michigan is the new Miss America!
All hail!
I have to admit it, she is a looker. But she’s younger than both of my daughters so I’ll refrain from taking any additional approbation beyond that.
I suggest that after the Democrats and Republicans are finished eviscerating each other we elect this fine [...]

You may recall (probably not) that I recently signed my youngest son up for the mysterious game of lacrosse. Both he and we are still learning what the game is all about. It’s a tough game, with rowdy fans, and lots of body checks, but my son seems to really enjoy it thus [...]

I was channel surfing last night and ran across this new reality show: Celebrity Rehab. Here’s the show’s premise…
“Celebrity Rehab” is the first television series to chronicle the dramatic, unscripted real life experiences of a group of actual celebrities as they make the life-changing decision to enter themselves into a drug, alcohol and [...]

Thank goodness for commercials. I’m pretty sure I’d never get any housework done without them.
Especially laundry. Laundry and commercials are a perfect match. You have just about enough time to pull out a load from the dryer, throw the clothes in the washer into the dryer and then put a new load in the washer, [...]
