Perhaps that is true, perhaps not. Perhaps it is the 2nd amendment that keeps the other amendments from being repealed.

I love how the left interprets “free speech” anyway. It’s free speech to call victims of 9/11 “Little Eichmans” but if the College Republicans invite a decorated Marine to talk at a college, they will rush the stage to shut him up.

Two problems with your assertions Rick:

1. The idea that government is alone in giving employees guidelines about which they can speak their mind is a silly one. Most large organizations limit their employees “free speech.”

2. The idea that government providing guidelines to government employees being a Bush administration thing is absurd. Let’s talk about Kennewick Man if you want to talk about the U.S. Government censoring scientific study.

Also, just so you are aware, There is no compelling evidence that polar bears are actually drowning due to global warming, the specific issue that the Bush administration is “censoring.” And there is also no reason to believe that Global Warming is going to drive them extinct.

If that were the case, the Medieval Warming Epoch would have killed them all off almost a thousand years ago. And it didn’t. So this time around isn’t likely to do it either. These “scientists” who go around claiming censorship are the most vocal sufferers of censorship I’ve ever heard of.
