Oh, and while Sarah’s good looks were definitely a factor in the left’s need to destroy her, it was her decision to have a Downs syndrome baby that absolutely drove a large faction of liberals absolutely insane. Many liberals pretty much hate fully functioning human beings and would be quite happy if the world could shed some 4 billion humans overnight (not them though, certainly not them). To choose to bring a less than fully functioning human into the world is something that makes their heads explode.

Well, no so long ago the left was all a-snicker over how “unnaturally attractive” Mitt Romney was/is. I saw something on the NY Times I think about how it must have affected Mitt’s development to have been such a hunk all through high school, college and into his career. They used terms like “movie star good looks” and “hunk factor” and stuff like that.

So I guess that means the Republicans have an attractive ticket this year.

Why don’t we swap out Romney for him? In this country, good looks (sadly) mean more than anything else to grab votes, imho.

Honestly, if I was an unattached voter, it wouldn’t have done much for me.

I know what you mean, Cosmic. His logic is likely to be underwhelming to the gen pop.

Don’t get me wrong…I LOVE the guy, and agree with Drax about the fight thing.

But, I went back and watched the same vid.

The guy is going to have to loosen up slightly…become a slight bit more outraged and passionate to appeal to the underlying sense of reality that any thinking human already knows (amongst the average voters). Something tells me that the handlers in the campaign will work on that with him.

I hope.

I really always thought he’d pick Ryan, and not take a clone of himself. But in a way, Ryan is a clone of Romney in the way he projects himself.

I went back and re-watched Ryan’s famous take-down of Obamacare in the “Health Care Summit.” I am worried now, because his approach, his demeanor, his mastery of the facts and his direct challenge of his opponent resonate so fully with me, that I find it hard to believe he will appeal to average voters…

Oh well, we’ll see.
